Soft Felt
Graphite felt, derived from rayon, is an excellent material for vacuum furnaces and high-temperature applications exceeding 2200°C.
For less demanding environments where extreme chemical purity isn’t essential, carbon felt serves as a more cost-effective alternative to graphite felt.

Soft Felt: Adaptable Insulation for Demanding Designs
Soft graphite felt combines high flexibility with excellent workability, making it well-suited for intricate and custom designs. Thanks to its outstanding geometric adaptability, it can seamlessly conform to even the most complex system shapes, ensuring reliable thermal insulation across diverse applications. For high-volume production, precision-punched components enable efficient manufacturing of specialized forms. Furthermore, these felts can be strengthened via carbon chemical vapor infiltration, enhancing their structural integrity and transforming them into rigid, self-supporting components.
